Fading of the year

A pretty New Year's Eve surprise...a snowfall to mark the last day of 2008. Happy New Year.

Baby it's cold outside

It's 24 degrees and still snowing this morning on Long Island.

Early Winter

It seems that autumn has come and gone, and it's not even Thanksgiving yet. The leaves are swept up--no acorns this year, oddly enough--and today we're having our first snow flurries. I don't think it will be anything picture-worthy, unfortunately. This year certainly has flown by.
